"Binyah Binyah"

The "Gullah Gullah Island" spin-off "Binyah Binyah," for which I puppeteered in July/August of '97, finally aired on Nickelodeon. The five test episodes we did aired February 2 -6,1998 during the Nick Jr. morning block of programming.

But Nick has officially passed on the series, so there will be no more "Binyahs." Too bad. I really enjoyed working with the cast and crew that was assembled for the show.

Above is a photo of me and my deceased puppet character Swimpy. Swimpy is a neurotic, neat-freak shrimp -- sort of a crustacean Felix Unger. He was tremendous fun to perform.
