CinderElmo

A new primetime TV special, scheduled to air on the Fox network on December 6th of 1999, CinderElmo is obviously a re-working of the Cinderella story, featuring Sesame Street's little red menace Elmo. The guest stars include Keri Russell from "Felicity," Kathy Nijimy from "Veronica's Closet," Oliver Platt, and French Stewart from "3rd Rock From the Sun."

In the show, French Stewart plays Elmo's dog, who gets turned into a prince so he can go to the ball, but has trouble shedding his "doggy-ness." French was delightful to work with, and really embraced working with the puppets, so I made a little puppet for him and dressed it sort of like his character. I gave it to him on his last day of work on the show.
