In 2001, I put a Frankenstein's Monster mannequin in my front window for the first time, and this year I gave him some company. Below left is a close-up of the Bride mannequin's head. At right, the Bride awaiting placement next to the Monster. I made her costume and customized the wig, and I made the scars that run along her jaw line and behind her ears out of red and black electrical tape so I could remove them easily.
The lovely fellow shown above is in my front yard to welcome guests. I made him in 2001 out of a $3.00 rubber mask from a discount store, a couple of pieces of wood I had lying around, some old clothes and latex gloves, and made his body form from old plastic bags stuffed with newspaper and wrapped in mailing tape. His eyes are painted ping-pong balls. He may have cost me $6.00 all together.
