AVENUE Q Salutes LITTLE SHOP

Not surprisingly, all of the puppeteers in the Broadway musical AVENUE Q know all of the puppeteers in the Broadway revival of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. So we wanted to help them celebrate their opening night.
Rick Lyon's little Audrey II the real Audrey II
At left is a photo of the tiny recreation of LITTLE SHOP'S man-eating plant Audrey II that I made. We put it on top of a cake the cast of AVENUE Q sent LITTLE SHOP for their opening night. At right is a pic of Marty Robinson's full size Audrey II from the Broadway production. I think my little tribute plant compares pretty favorably! By the way, the filling of the cake was red, so it would bleed when it was cut into!
