The Lyon Puppets recently built - in a huge rush - several puppets for the Nickelodeon cable network. I designed the two aliens pictured below, named Gort and Gert, who host "Alien Invasion" weekend, where every show aired features aliens of some kind. Gert and Gort are sort of a bickering husband and wife, not unlike George Costanza's parents from SEINFELD.

The build was enormously fast - ridiculous, really. All the puppet builders worked incredibly long hours, and managed to do great work under very stressful conditions. Building these puppets were me, Vanessa Gifford, James Wojtal, Carlos Yannuzzi, and Michael Schupbach.
