This is how I looked on Halloween 1999. I didn't finish the makeup in time to get to the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade as I had intended, but I didn't want to waste all that effort, so I went into NYC later and goofed around all over town. It was fun riding on the subway!
Remember, it's not a mask, it's a prosthetic makeup -- it's not over my head, it's glued and painted on my face. I think this is about as much like Boris Karloff's classic Monster as I'll ever look, given how different my facial structure is from his. Still, I think it's pretty obvious who it's supposed to be.
It took forever to put on -- about 5 hours, working by myself (have you ever tried to put makeup on evenly on the BACK of your ears? Glued on an eyelid?). I was thrilled with the results -- I think it's freaky how little this looks like me. Many thanks to Ron Binion for his help in the pre-production process.
