MACY'S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE
| Pictured at right, me and Grover preparing for the 1999 Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, which was my 6th or 7th parade in a row on the Sesame Street float. I've puppeteered Big Bird, The Count, Herry Monster, and Grover for the parade now. It's a very bizarre experience: you're surrounded by zillions of screaming, frenzied people, almost none of whom you can actually see. But it's great to know that people still respond so positively to seeing these characters in person.
