Above, a picture of me with Michael Curry. He and his crew did a fabulous job keeping everything together, in what was really a pretty chaotic event. There were celebrations for every time zone, starting at 6am eastern time, when Australia and that area welcomed 2000, until the very last time zone on the planet rang in the new year at 6am eastern time the next day. Quite a marathon. I was happy to be a part of it -- I'll certainly never see anything quite like it again.
